I — The workConcept

TipTone is a stepping-stone pavement that plays a single melody as you walk along it. Visitors may follow the beaten path and hear a familiar masterpiece unfold under their feet — or be bold, leave the path, and improvise a new route and a new piece of music from the same notes.

III — The storyMaking & meaning

In an ancient city whose streets are worn into paths by centuries of footsteps, TipTone offers a choice between the known route and a personal one. The interesting moment is the first wrong step, when the melody breaks and the walker becomes a composer.
